When we bought our property many years ago, we found more rocks than dirt. So a rock garden became our reality. Our first vegetable garden fed the deer more than it fed us. Then came the greenhouse, which keeps things growing all winter and cooks a few plants every summer.
Every design here comes from something that we experienced in our own yard. These shirts are for the gardener who has things go wrong even when they do everything right. The gardener who doesn’t have all the answers. And yet they keep at it, not to get baskets of vegetables to sell, or to have the picture-perfect yard, but because it’s their oasis just the way it is.
